As a fabulous way to appreciate and thank their business clientele this year, Miller Thomson LLP hosted a lovely wine tasting event for the firm’s Capital Markets Division clients. A fun time was had by 160 guests in attendance with an elaborate 30 foot charcuterie spread featured by Hawksworth Restaurant. 2 guest speakers addressed the crowd with testimonials and kudos to the firm for excellence in support and services.
Cellar Mistress featured the fantastic Rose, Sauvignon Blanc and Bourgogne d’Auxerre Pinot Noir wines of Domaine Bersan from Burgundy, France and the exquisite, luxurious Chardonnay, Grenache and Shiraz from Maxwell Wines, McLaren Vale region of South Australia. All unique wines only exclusively offered by Cellar Mistress.
Cushman Wakefield Realty
Cushman Wakefield held a Cellar Mistress exclusive wine tasting event for their entire sales staff as an after work social event and also as an introductory opportunity to select wines for personal collection or purchase, or wine gift baskets for corporate client gifting to their commercial and industrial clients.
Cellar Mistress also creates lovely gifting wine baskets (French & Italian) for those who wish to give wine as the perfect and always accepted gift. Perfect for the holiday season, congratulations gift on the purchase of that new home or gift giving for any occasion.

Book Launch Party
A wine tasting is always a unique and innovative way to bring people together for a purpose. My dear friend, Farzana Jaffer-Jerra launched her first book, I Cheat at Meditation; with a Chapters Indigo book signing followed by an after party at the Electra Meccanica Dealership with a Cellar Mistress wine tasting event and a meditation demonstration, music and delectable hor d’oeuvres and flavoured mini cupcakes.

Price Waterhouse Coopers
The Managing Director of Price Waterhouse Coopers held a Summer Party at his private home showcasing a selection of the exclusive collection of Cellar Mistress Wines. 80 of PWC’s best clients and guest were invited to attend a private evening of appreciation, reward and recognition with wine, food and music.
Cellar Mistress showcased 3 whites and 4 reds, allowing guests to determine the differences between grape types and styles. A buffet assortment of charcuterie, cheeses, antipasto, prime rib and smoked and barbecued salmon complimented the wines chosen.
BC Coastal Jazz Society
The BC Coastal Jazz Society held a lovely wine tasting event cocktail party for its Board of Directors and Special Donors Evening at Frankies Jazz Club, in Frankie’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant, 765 Beatty Street, Vancouver. A great jazz combo was featured as we enjoyed the musical talents and delights of jazz musicians from around the world who celebrate jazz music at the club.
Cellar Mistress showcased a partial collection of wines consisting of Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chianti Classico, Grenache/Syrah blend and of course, the ever popular Chateauneuf-du-Pape to guests who mingled over a bountiful charcuterie and seafood buffet.
Each of the evening’s guests were also treated to a lovely bottle of Bordeaux from our Cellar Mistress exclusive collection as a special thank you gift in support of the BC Coastal Jazz Society.
Ernst & Young
We hosted an exclusive private wine tasting for a department of Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants at the very posh and conservative Vancouver Club. E&Y was prospecting an existing private client and networking within the client company to expand its capabilities and promote services to other business divisions of the client company.
The Vancouver Club served an assortment of canapes cocktail party style and a selection of 4 reds and 3 whites from the Cellar Mistress collection were showcased to compliment the canapes. A technical description and interactive discussion of each wine and their nuances was also showcased to all the guests, who also voted on their favorite wines by the end of the night.
Cellar Mistress defined the differences between a Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and (the uncommon) White Chateauneuf-du-Pape. A Cabernet/Merlot blend and a Merlot/Cabernet blend and 2 aged vintages of Chateauneuf-du-Pape were also presented which made for an extremely fun event.
Cinematographer's Guild
The Cinematographers Guild held its special council meeting this year with a unique twist, by hosting a private Cellar Mistress wine tasting social for its Executive Union Members.
The Guild is focused on bringing representative members of various different entertainment unions together for a common purpose and to determine positive actions, where mediation and understanding amongst the groups differing agendas could be voiced and understood.
Cellar Mistress hosted a lovely tasting, providing wine enlightenment during the evening, which was a great success.
TD Securities
TD Securities’ held an early evening private wine event showcasing Cellar Mistress exclusive boutique wines high above their offices from the breathtaking views of their boardroom to prospect and impress a group of Executive decision makers of a Private Client Medical Association.
A simple assortment of crackers and cheeses accompanied this wine event for a small gathering, where a guest speaker presented an investment topic to the association invited guests and wine enlightenment and pairing was provided by Cellar Mistress.
